Title: Java Developer

Introduction

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will investigate problem areas and prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. This role will involve working on the SCOR Enhancements Project EI parallel initiative, making updates to the SCOR Java, and supporting application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions based on user requirements
• Update business logic, user interface, reporting capabilities, and system data model
• Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, and defect root cause analysis
• Maintain code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures
• Provide on-call support as needed

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
• Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
• Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
• Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
• Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
• Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development

• Experience with Angular UI Framework
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• Experience with PowerBI
