Quality Assurance Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Mediacom Park, NY that is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst.

Summary:
This role is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, including updating them to align with evolving requirements. The position involves testing across Web, mobile, and client-server applications, with a focus on validating complex, end-to-end workflows that span multiple integrated platforms.

Testing efforts extend across various environments and devices, including Android and iOS systems, set-top boxes, cable modems, and fiber ONTs. Responsibilities also include identifying and documenting defects in Jira, tracking defect resolution, and monitoring overall testing progress and application quality.

The position requires thorough documentation of application workflows, test scenarios, and detailed testing procedures, while simultaneously supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field required
* 3+ years of Manual Testing experience functioning in a Software QA role
* Experience working with complex, multi-tier, platform testing is an advantage
* Strong Knowledge of QA methodology, the Software Development Lifecycle and Software Testing Life Cycle
* Experience working with SoapUI, Postman, Restful API's and XML
* Hands-on experience planning Tests and a strong ability to write thorough and comprehensive Test plans and Test cases in accordance with the functional requirements and project plans provided
* Ability to proactively take initiative and demonstrate a high level of accountability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
