Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join a team focused on building and enhancing enterprise-scale digital products and customer-facing platforms. This role is ideal for a highly experienced Salesforce developer who thrives in a complex engineering environment and enjoys solving challenging integration, scalability, and modernization problems.
The team is responsible for developing and supporting applications that enable users to access, manage, and interact with critical business information through modern digital experiences. As part of a broader modernization initiative, you will help design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce-based solutions while integrating data and functionality across multiple enterprise systems.
This is a hands-on software engineering role requiring deep Salesforce development expertise, strong integration experience, and a solid understanding of modern application architecture. Candidates with backgrounds in object-oriented programming and enterprise application development will be particularly successful.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain highly customized Salesforce applications and solutions.
* Build scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications using Salesforce technologies and modern development practices.
* Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, integrations, APIs, and supporting services.
* Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms using REST APIs and other integration patterns.
* Contribute to platform modernization initiatives, reusable component frameworks, and application architecture improvements.
* Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support activities.
* Develop automated tests and ensure code quality through established testing and DevOps practices.
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications and integrations.
* Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, scalability, and platform maturity.
Required Qualifications
* Extensive experience developing within Salesforce CRM environments.
* Strong hands-on expertise with:
Salesforce Development
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
JavaScript and/or TypeScript
REST APIs and Web Services
Test Automation Frameworks
* Experience designing and building enterprise-scale applications.
* Strong understanding of integration architecture, API development, and cross-platform data exchange.
* Experience with batch processing, bulk data operations, and scalable solution design.
* Knowledge of secure coding standards, code coverage, monitoring, and application observability.
* Experience working within Agile software development environments.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
* Background in object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#.
* Experience with Java Spring Boot.
* Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar testing tools.
* Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based architectures.
* Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
