JOB DESCRIPTION:

An Application Expert or SAP CFIN (Central Finance) Analyst is a specialized consultant responsible for bridging the gap between complex finance business requirements and technical SAP S/4HANA solutions. This role is critical for organizations undergoing digital finance transformations, as it focuses on consolidating financial data from multiple ERP source systems into a single, real-time S/4HANA "Central Finance" system. 

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation: Translating business needs into smart, scalable SAP CFIN solutions, including initial data loads and ongoing replication.
• Data Replication & Monitoring: Managing data flow using tools like SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) and Application Interface Framework (AIF) to handle error resolution and mapping.
• Process Optimization: Driving standardization for financial master data and functional process designs across both the CFIN system and source ERP systems.
• Technical Support: Troubleshooting production issues within the CFIN landscape and supporting system stability through rigorous testing (UAT) and go-live support.
• Integration Management: Coordinating with technical leads and cross-functional teams (e.g., FICO, MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration and data harmonization. 

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, FICO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting), and specific CFIN features like Central Payments, Sync-back, and Account-based COPA.
• Experience: Most "Expert" or "Lead" roles require 7 to 15 years of SAP implementation experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in end-to-end CFIN projects.
• Certifications: SAP S/4HANA Central Finance or FI/CO certifications are often preferred or required.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform root cause analysis for complex interface errors and performance issues.
