Job Title: Technical Product Owner Banking Solutions
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract
Mode of work: Onsite 4 days/week
Job Summary:
The Technical Product Owner will define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog with a close eye on technical requirements and data-driven decision making. This role entails collaboration with development, data, and business teams ensuring delivery of secure, compliant, and customer-centric banking solutions aligned with the bank s strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision and technical roadmap for banking products, including digital banking, mobile apps, and payment systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including compliance, security, data analysts, and engineering teams to gather and prioritize product and technical requirements.
- Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, emphasizing technical feasibility and data considerations.
- Utilize SQL skills to analyze data, validate feature impacts, and inform product decisions.
- Partner with Scrum teams to deliver high-quality, timely product features and enhancements.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and data interpretation to identify innovation and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure all solutions comply with banking regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws.
- Monitor product metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous product and technical improvements.
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams, business units, and external partners to promote alignment and successful delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; Master s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Product Owner in banking or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
- Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and security protocols.
- Proven Agile/Scrum experience with a technical background.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with banking tech platforms, APIs, data warehouses, and digital transformation projects.
