Summary

Meyer Utility Structures are seeking a highly motivated and innovative AI Solutions Architect to lead the identification, development, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions across our manufacturing and business operations.

This is an individual contributor role requiring someone who is equally comfortable working with manufacturing leadership, business users, and technical teams. The ideal candidate possesses a broad understanding of modern AI technologies including Generative AI, Machine Learning, Process Automation, Intelligent Document Processing, Predictive Analytics, and Computer Vision and can independently identify opportunities where these technologies create measurable business value.

This individual will immerse themselves in our steel utility pole manufacturing operations, develop a deep understanding of our business processes, and proactively recommend and implement AI-driven improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs, improve decision making, and enhance operational efficiency.

Because data is foundational to AI, this role will also serve as a Power BI resource responsible for developing enterprise dashboards, semantic models, executive reporting, and analytics that support strategic decision making.

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today's transmission industry standards and specifications.

  • Develop and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, semantic models, reports, and analytics supporting executive and operational decision-making.
  • Build and optimize data models, SQL queries, APIs, and data integrations that enable AI and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate AI solutions with ERP, manufacturing, and enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve productivity, quality, and decision making.
  • Establish best practices for AI development, governance, data quality, and responsible AI usage.
