Summary

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced RTR (Record-to-Report) Oracle Consultant with hands-on BlackLine implementation experience to drive finance transformation initiatives for our clients. You will bridge ERP and close management platforms to deliver end-to-end financial close optimization.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end RTR process design, configuration, and deployment on Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud Financials
Implement and configure BlackLine modules including Account Reconciliation, Task Management, Journal Entry, and Variance Analysis
Integrate BlackLine with Oracle GL, sub-ledgers, and data sources via APIs and certified connectors
Map current-state close processes and redesign workflows to eliminate manual tasks and reduce close cycle times
Configure Oracle Financial Close modules (FCCS / EPM) and align with BlackLine task workflows
Deliver training, UAT support, and hypercare for finance and accounting teams
Collaborate with clients to define KPIs, reconciliation policies, and audit trail requirements
Produce functional design documents, data mapping specs, and test scripts

Qualifications

5+ years of Oracle Financials implementation experience with RTR focus
2+ years of BlackLine implementation or administration experience
BlackLine certification preferred (Implementer or Administrator)
Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS financial close and reporting standards
CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage
Experience with Big 4 or consulting firm delivery environments preferred
Excellent communication skills able to present to CFO and Controller-level stakeholders

Preferred experience

Oracle EPM / FCCS for consolidation and close management
Experience migrating from manual reconciliations or legacy tools to BlackLine
Multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-GAAP reconciliation setup
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls documentation
