YSI is seeking an Information Technologist to provide daily operation of video teleconference systems and related facility operations, including desk-side user instruction on VTC equipment.
The role includes training users on VTC operation, using scheduling software to coordinate conferences, performing pre-conference testing and setup, operating crypto keying functions for secure video teleconferences, assisting customers with SIPRNET kiosk access, and providing technical assistance, including backup assistance to the Cyber Security Division when requested.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field of study, or eight (8) or more years related
- Eight (8) or more years in deploying systems in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of client support in a Microsoft Windows-based environment.
- Three (3) or more years of specialized experience working in the Microsoft Windows environment supporting Windows Server 2019, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (Forefront TMG), formerly known as Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA), Share Point, SQL Server 2019 or current releases of all OS and applications.
- Knowledge of IT concepts, principles and methods.
- Knowledgeable in the use of software tools and processes to load software images on and configuration to manage the supported computers.
- Knowledge of PC architecture and hardware and software capability and configurations.
- Ability to operate all video teleconference systems and have knowledge of facilitation operations.
- Knowledge of crypto keying functions of equipment for secure video teleconferences.
- Certs: IT Level II (Security+)
