Summary

A globally leading consumer device company based in Austin, TX is looking for Program Manager to join the Digital Content Management (DCM) Localization team to work closely with other WW Localization Project and Program Managers on aligning processes and standard methodologies; delivering high quality translation and localization of product data, marketing content, and application content on the Online Stores, Store App, WeChat and Tmall platforms. This person will also partner with DCM teams across Austin, Cupertino, London and Singapore to ensure timely delivery of localized content for Campaigns, Engineering Releases, Programs and New Product Introductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key DCM teams to manage localization of content for the eCommerce experience.
  • Lead end-to-end localization projects using in-house translation management systems (WorldServer) and translation memory tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, regional teams, language specialists, and localization vendors to support project delivery and urgent localization requests.
  • Establish and maintain consistent localization processes, workflows, guidelines, and best practices across teams.
  • Manage Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) activities during engineering release cycles, campaigns, programs, and new product introductions.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities, tight launch timelines, and cross-functional decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain reporting for localization functions within the DCM organization.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve localization processes, efficiency, and overall performance.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Localization Project Manager, including 2+ years of vendor management experience preferred.
  • Have a working understanding of web technology tools such as XML, HTML, Photoshop, and varying digital asset types.
  • Localization budget management and vendor-side experience is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English required
  • Native fluency in one or more of the languages supported on the Online Store preferred but not required.
  • BA/BS in Localization, Linguistics, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous website and/or e-commerce localization experience preferred.
  • Project Management qualification/certification a plus.



Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Austin, TX (remote)
Pay rate: $55.00 - $70.00 ph (DOE)
