Summary

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Compliance Analyst - Hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to support strategic Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) initiatives and ongoing BAU activities within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role blends business analysis, data analytics, and product management and will work closely with Compliance, Risk, Technology, and GRC vendor partners to deliver system implementations, support Compliance programs, and enable analytics, reporting, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Support end to end delivery of GRC initiatives, including requirements gathering, BRD development, UAT, production rollout, and BAU support
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements into functional workflows
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Non-Financial Risk, Policy, Issue Management and other GRC teams to socialize requirements and enhance workflows
  • Work closely with Technology teams and third-party GRC vendors to support solution design reviews, track development progress, and drive implementation execution
  • Lead and/or support UAT activities, including test planning, test case development, stakeholder coordination, defect triage, and resolution
  • Support production rollout, ensuring operational readiness and post-implementation governance
  • Perform detailed data analysis, validation, and reconciliation across risk, control, and regulatory obligation datasets
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Partner with Technology teams on backend system data uploads, templates, bulk updates and data fixes
  • Provide ongoing BAU product and analytical support for ongoing BAU Compliance programs
  • Coordinate with Compliance teams to support ongoing regulatory, audit, and reporting needs
  • Support ad hoc data and analytical requests while balancing strategic delivery commitments

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, product management, data analytics & reporting, preferably within banking or financial services
  • Experience supporting GRC, risk, compliance, regulatory, or audit programs is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Compliance programs (e.g., RCM, CRA, Controls, Monitoring & Testing)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA for user story creation, backlog management, and reporting
  • Strong data analysis and problem solving skills, with experience working with complex datasets and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools
  • Hands on experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboarding, reporting, and analytics
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot) for data analysis, smart data parsing, and generating new ideas
  • Solid technical aptitude, including experience working with data models, databases, and technology teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple workstreams and manage competing priorities

Pay range up to: $48.18 per hour
