Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Job Description
TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Expert Cloud Engineer (Azure) to support a key enterprise user base. This role focuses on front-end infrastructure development to enable and enhance software application delivery within a large-scale environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevOps practices, with strong experience supporting enterprise and client-facing platforms.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support software application development
• Lead front-end infrastructure development efforts within Azure environments
• Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve IT infrastructure
• Define and manage server provisioning images and storage configuration parameters
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Utilize Git/GitOps workflows for version control and automated deployments
• Collaborate with development, operations, and stakeholder teams in a hybrid environment

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant client experience in similar technologies (training period excluded)
• At least 5 years of on-site client-facing experience in a similar technology and domain
• 6-8+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $76.67 - $76.67/hr.
