Location: Minneapolis, MN– Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months and Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor Teradata databases.
- Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Manage database space, skew, spool, CPU, and workload utilization.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security.
- Support ETL processes, batch jobs, and data warehouse reporting.
- Automate DBA activities using Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Coordinate deployments, maintenance, and incident management.
Required Skills:
- Teradata architecture and administration.
- SQL, BTEQ, TPT, FastLoad, and MultiLoad.
- Performance tuning and query optimization.
