Description:
The Judge Group's Direct client in the financial services industry is seeking an experienced "Systems Engineer". Hybrid | Manassas, VA.

We're seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Windows & RHEL Services Squad. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Manassas, VA (2 days per week) with potential on-call rotation.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and maintain Windows & Linux platforms (bare metal & virtualized)
Provide L2 support and troubleshoot OS, storage, and infrastructure issues
Deploy solutions following DevOps/Agile practices and change management processes
Collaborate across teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Document systems and share knowledge for continuous improvement

Key Skills:

Windows Server, Active Directory, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
VMware vSphere / Microsoft Hyper-V
Enterprise storage (NFS, SMB, iSCSI), filesystem tuning
Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing)
ITIL principles

Nice to Have:

Automation with Ansible, Python, PowerShell
Familiarity with Git, YAML/JSON
