System Analyst (C++)
Location: Irvine, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst (C++) to analyze business and technical requirements, design system solutions, and support the development of high-performance applications using C++. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions. Experience in system analysis, software design, and C++ development within Agile environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Design system architecture and application workflows for C++-based applications.
  • Collaborate with business users, product owners, and development teams to define solution requirements.
  • Develop and review technical design documents, interface specifications, and system documentation.
  • Support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of C++ applications.
  • Perform system impact analysis for new features, enhancements, and production changes.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Work with QA teams to support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, or C++ Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17 or later).
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
  • Experience with STL, memory management, and debugging techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix development environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
  • Experience with REST APIs, TCP/IP, sockets, or inter-process communication.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Qt or MFC for desktop application development.
  • Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments.
  • Exposure to embedded systems, telecommunications, automotive, or financial systems.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
