Position Overview
This contractor position performs QA activities for the PCS Contract Operations team, supporting an application initiative to enhance and update the System Contract Operating and Reporting application for more robust contract management, monitoring, and compliance. The role is part of the Administrative Applications Software QA team and is responsible for maintaining automated test cases using Playwright or similar technology, along with manual and automated test scripts. The position supports dev, test, UAT, and production environments, assists with troubleshooting, leads UAT activities as needed, and may require on-call support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test cases using Playwright or similar technology.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
- Perform manual testing as required.
- Track test case execution and establish automated schedules for test runs and reporting.
- Use Jira to log and track defects.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
- Support development teams in dev, test, UAT, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot test cases and lead UAT testing activities as needed.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
- 10 years experience in manual test script execution.
- 8 years experience in automated QA testing.
- 8 years experience in QA test script creation.
- 8 years experience in performance testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years experience in QA automated test case reporting.
- 5 years experience with JavaScript, HTML, Playwright, WebdriverIO, and JMeter.
- 3 years experience in Agile, Scrum, Jira, XRay, or Zephyr.
- 3 years experience in accessibility testing.
