Hansen Talent Group is hiring a System Software Programmer to support modernization efforts for critical systems at an agency in SC.
This role focuses on full-stack development using .NET and Angular to modernize systems. You’ll play a key role in building scalable applications, supporting integrations, and implementing DevOps practices in a highly regulated environment. This is an onsite role in Columbia, SC, with some limited remote flexibility after onboarding.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET (C#) and Angular.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and integrations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Modernize legacy systems and refactor code for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Support system integrations, reporting (Power BI), and data integrity efforts.
• Participate in testing, deployments, and ongoing system support.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow security/compliance standards.
What You’ll Need
• Full-stack development experience (.NET / Angular).
• Strong experience with REST APIs and backend development (ASP.NET Core).
• Experience with SQL Server, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, testing, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA or similar preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
