This position requires a strategic systems thinker capable of holding the tension across these interconnected disciplines (Mission Engineering, Cyber, and Cloud) while weaving the strengths and trade-offs of each to achieve high-impact solutions.

The ideal candidate will inspire collaboration among subject matter experts and champion innovation in multi-domain operations. The successful candidate will align advanced technologies with operational needs and program objectives across domains such as autonomy, AI/ML, IoT, space operations, and cybersecurity.

This role combines technical leadership, analytical insight, and cross-disciplinary integration to deliver mission success for critical DoD initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to design, implement, and secure cloud-enabled architectures to meet mission-critical requirements in multi-domain environments.
  • Develop and refine Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Concept of Employment (CONEMP) frameworks, integrating operational needs and warfighter priorities.
  • Apply advanced Systems Engineering methodologies and Operations Research techniques to analyze, optimize, and integrate solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of emerging technologies, including AI/ML, IoT, autonomy, and cyber systems, while driving digital transformation and operational optimization.
  • Facilitate collaboration across Mission Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Cybersecurity disciplines, ensuring scalable and resilient solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and mission-focused problem solving.
  • Deliver system documentation, technical briefs, and analyses to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with program goals and customer needs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Mission Engineering Expertise: Proven track record in leading Mission Engineering initiatives for multi-domain operations.
  • Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Strong proficiency in secure cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and scalable architecture design for DoD programs.
  • Cybersecurity Acumen: Deep understanding of secure practices, frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, Zero Trust), and system resiliency principles.
  • Ability to navigate across Mission Engineering, Cloud, and Cyber disciplines, balancing the tension between them to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Experience in designing CONOPS/CONEMP frameworks and integrating operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Advanced Systems Engineering methodologies and Operations Research experience, including modeling and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills for collaborating with government stakeholders and technical teams.

Desired Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, develop technical roadmaps, and execute large-scale mission engineering efforts successfully.
  • Experience in digital engineering initiatives, leveraging secure systems and connected architectures to optimize mission frameworks.
  • Ability to lead simultaneous mission analyses while supporting both primary and ancillary program priorities.
  • Knowledge of Space Force digital test environments or related operational scenarios.
  • Familiarity with modern compliance frameworks, such as FedRAMP, ISO9001, or Zero Trust architectures.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, Systems Analysis, or related disciplines required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Location:
