Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming and Python scripting.
• Extensive experience with AWS, including Lambda functions, S3, EC2, and other cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems
• Familiarity with software configuration management, build management, and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts and experience developing AI agents or automation scripts.
• Experience integrating LMS with enterprise systems like Workday.
• Ability to handle automation testing and troubleshooting.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to lead the migration of a Learning Management System (LMS) , while also spearheading the development of AI-driven agents and automation solutions on top of the LMS platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java, Python, AWS, and LMS systems, with a focus on AI and automation. This role requires a proactive leader capable of adapting to evolving project requirements, guiding a small team, and delivering innovative solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing LMS configurations and integrations, including Workday, to support the migration and future enhancements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize product builds, code baselines, and test environments.
• Design and implement AI agents and automation solutions leveraging Python scripting, AWS Lambda, and other cloud services.
• Review and improve configuration management, build processes, and delivery systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, analysts, engineers) to align technology solutions with business requirements.
• Document technical workflows, system configurations, and project status updates.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with security policies and relevant standards.
• Lead efforts in developing AI capabilities, focusing on agent development and automation within the LMS environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and development of AI agents.
• Experience with Bedrock or similar AI models.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in learning management system migrations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical solutions effectively.
• Leadership experience, capable of guiding team members and managing project timelines.
