Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking an experienced system or product engineer for ethernet switch products. This role requires a strong switch product and factory knowledge, excellent communication skills between engineers and factory, and the ability to manage projects effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
Product Engineer Role - To coordinating production and building networking products.
Handle and Manage development stage system assembly and testing. Need to make sure and well-known product each angel detail including manufacture process.
Collaborate cross-functionally with software/firmware, BMC/BIOS, HW, ME designers, and production team to review product quality.
Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams for technical issues resolution.
Improve system process for better quality and customer satisfaction.
Come out support document to make sure product successful.
After product mass production, support customer technical questions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or Computer Engineering (CE) related or equivalent program management experiences.
8 years of Product Engineer experience
3+ years of hands-on switch product experience is a plus
Experience in manufacturing process is a plus.
Good communication ability with customers.
Ability to work with team members from different function groups.
Bilingual English and Mandarin support is a plus.
Salary Range
$137,000 - $156,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
