Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Security Systems Technician for a full-time, field-based role supporting commercial clients throughout the Pittsburgh area. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no overnight travel-you'll be home every night.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, program, troubleshoot, and service commercial security systems
- Work with CCTV/video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems
- Run and terminate low-voltage wiring in various environments
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and project requirements
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service on job sites
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial security system installation experience
- Strong expertise in video surveillance systems (high priority)
- Experience with access control and intrusion systems
- Proficiency in low-voltage wiring and terminations
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Manufacturer certifications (Avigilon, Axis, Genetec, etc.) preferred
