Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Zscaler Architect with strong expertise in ZIA, ZPA, CASB, and Cloud Firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will lead assessment, design, deployment, integration, and optimization of Zscaler solutions across global regions. This role requires a deep understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), VPN/firewall policy translation, and cloud security best practices.
Must-Have Technical Skills - Strong hands-on experience with:
- Zscaler ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access)
- Zscaler ZPA (Zscaler Private Access)
- Zscaler CASB
- Zscaler Cloud Firewall (Advanced)
- Knowledge of App Connectors, Branch Connectors, and ZTNA architecture
- Experience translating legacy VPN/firewall rules (e.g., Ivanti VPN) into ZPA policies
Roles & Responsibilities Assessment & Planning - Conduct Zscaler transformation assessments for global regions (US, Japan).
- Define architecture, migration roadmap, and deployment strategy for ZIA/ZPA.
- Analyze and translate legacy VPN/firewall rules into ZPA policy structures.
Deployment & Enablement - Implement and roll out ZIA and ZPA for pilot and enterprise users.
- Configure, deploy, and validate App Connectors and Branch Connectors.
- Enable and tune Zscaler CASB for SaaS security and compliance.
- Support replacement of branch office firewalls with Zscaler Cloud Firewall Advanced.
Integration & Optimization - Integrate Zscaler solutions with identity platforms such as Okta and Azure AD.
- Integrate Zscaler with SIEM solutions for logging and monitoring.
- Optimize performance, security policy alignment, and end-user experience.
- Ensure seamless application and branch connectivity across the enterprise.
Candidate Requirements - Strong understanding of Zero Trust and security transformation frameworks.
- Proven experience in large-scale Zscaler deployments.
- Ability to work in a global environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to visit the customer site in Newark, NJ on an as-needed basis.
