Job Title : TIBCO Spotfire Developer

Location : Onsite (Cincinnati, OH) Pref Local/ if not ready to relocate

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled TIBCO Spotfire Developer/Analyst to design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations and analytics dashboards. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights using TIBCO Spotfire.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using TIBCO Spotfire.

Build data models, calculated columns, and custom expressions within Spotfire.

Integrate Spotfire with various data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, APIs, etc.).

Develop data transformations using Spotfire Data Canvas and IronPython scripting where required.

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytics solutions.

Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.

Support data validation, testing, and deployment of analytics solutions.

Maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and reporting processes.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and availability.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience in Data Analytics / BI development.

5+ years of hands-on experience with TIBCO Spotfire.

Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices.

Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Experience with Spotfire Data Canvas and data wrangling.

Familiarity with IronPython scripting in Spotfire.

Experience integrating Spotfire with enterprise data sources and APIs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TIBCO Spotfire Server and Web Player administration.

Knowledge of Python, R, or other analytics tools.

Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Exposure to data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
