Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP/DS Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of S/4HANA Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) solutions. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in discrete manufacturing, with strong preference for automotive manufacturing experience.

The ideal candidate will be a customer-facing, independent performer who can lead end-to-end PP/DS implementations, translate complex business needs into scalable SAP solutions, and coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP ePP/DS within S/4HANA

• Architect and configure advanced Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling solutions

• Act as the primary solution owner for SAP PP/DS engagements

• Present solution designs and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders

SAP PP/DS Functional Expertise

• Configure and support advanced PP/DS capabilities, including:

  • Interactive Production Planning

  • Detailed Scheduling & Sequencing

  • Pegging

  • Production Planning Table

  • Planning Board

  • Constraint-Based Planning

  • Model Mix Planning

  • Multi-Level Scheduling

• Implement advanced planning features:

  • Cross-Location Planning

  • Automated Planning Responses

  • Multi-Level Constraint-Based Plans

  • Sub-Daily Buckets & Telescopic Time Buckets

  • Time-Dependent Safety Stock

Supply Chain & Manufacturing Integration

• Provide deep process expertise across:

  • Demand & Supply Planning

  • Capacity Planning

  • Distribution Planning

  • Service Planning

• Support end-to-end supply chain processes, including:

  • Procurement

  • Manufacturing

  • Logistics

  • Inventory Management

• Apply industry best practices for:

  • Automotive Manufacturing

  • Repetitive / Discrete Manufacturing

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and coordinate onshore/offshore delivery models

• Translate customer requirements into functional designs and cascade execution to offshore teams

• Maintain strong collaboration with peers, stakeholders, and delivery teams

• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years of experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP/DS)

• Proven experience implementing SAP ePP/DS in Automotive or Discrete Manufacturing

• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to lead SAP PP/DS implementations independently

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
