Location: Chandler, Arizona (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to write batches in Python, contributing to a migration effort from Perl. This position requires collaboration with fellow developers and operational partners to validate functionality in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement batch processes using Python.
- Analyze existing Perl code to translate business logic into Python.
- Engage with developers and operational partners to ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Contribute to the framework development for ETL processes.
- Operate within an Agile development methodology using tools like JIRA and Bitbucket.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Python coding skills.
- Ability to read and understand Perl code for translation purposes.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with technical and operational teams.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications
- Design or architecture experience related to ETL process framework development.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Transact-SQL.
- Experience developing in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Bitbucket.
