This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of $25,000.Leidos is seeking a driven and experienced Software Engineer to support a high-stakes, mission-critical program In this role, you'll architect, develop, and integrate advanced AI/ML solutions that shape national security and drive meaningful innovation. Primary Responsibilities- Design, develop, integrate and enhance secure AI/ML applications and systems in support of evolving operational environments
- Implement and optimize complex algorithms, including deep learning models
- Debug and optimize software for performance and reliability
- Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver rapid, high-quality releases
- Create and maintain system documentation and technical reports
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- 14+ years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar type and scope
- Proficiency in Python and modern programming languages
- Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications- AWS experience experience implementing production-scale AI/ML systems
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure management
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok)
