Job description
Project Leadership & Oversight
Lead utility equipment scope execution and act as primary technical
representative.
Ensure EPCM and contractors adhere to approved scope, schedule, cost, and
quality.
Challenge EPCM recommendations to protect Owner interests.
Commercial & Contracting Support
Review award recommendations, change orders, field changes, and
commercial/schedule impacts.
Coordinate closely with vendors throughout design, fabrication, FAT, delivery,
and site support.
Technical Coordination
Work with process, piping, E&I, automation, C&Q, and facilities to
ensure proper system integration.
Participate in constructability, maintainability, and schedule reviews.
Track equipment schedules and proactively mitigate vendor risks.
Field & Installation Support
Maintain on‑site presence as needed.
Ensure utility equipment is installed per design, specs, and GMP standards.
Partner with construction, QA/QC, and safety to resolve field issues and NCRs.
Support walkdowns, punch lists, installation readiness, and system turnover.
Commissioning & Qualification
Support C&Q/validation activities for utility systems.
Review and approve turnover documentation.
Work with Operations and Quality on system handover and readiness.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering.
10+ years in pharma/biotech engineering or project management.
Strong knowledge of utility systems (WFI, clean steam, HVAC, process
utilities).
Experience with GMP, validation, vendor management, and mechanical equipment
projects.
Proficiency with project management tools; strong communication and leadership
skills.
Ability to operate in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications
