Summary
Location: Onsite – Arlington, VA
Microsoft Fabric Architect (Domo Migration) – Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI, and Analytics Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Power BI.
- Proven experience migrating BI/Analytics platforms such as Domo, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, or Business Objects to modern cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, Semantic Models, DAX, and dashboard/report modernization.
- Experience designing scalable data architectures using Lakehouse, Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture, and Delta Lake.
- Strong SQL, Python/PySpark, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data transformation skills.
- Experience implementing data governance, security, lineage, and metadata management using Microsoft Purview or similar tools.
- Experience with Azure data services such as ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
- Ability to lead architecture workshops, perform migration assessments, define roadmaps, and engage with business stakeholders.
- Microsoft Fabric (DP-600) and Azure Data Engineer (DP-203) certifications are preferred.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the BFSI domain and large-scale analytics modernization programs involving Domo-to-Power BI/Fabric migrations.
