The SharePoint Developer will apply current technologies/methods to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint foundation-based application(s). This includes managing the site content, site capabilities and providing daily maintenance of the existing application(s). Participates in the testing process through review, analysis, and implementation. Familiarity with standard SharePoint concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work with Client business stakeholders daily.
Primary Responsibilities:
The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other related duties may be performed, both major and minor, which
are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. As a SharePoint Developer you will be able to perform the following duties:
• Working with COTS software that is SharePoint based requiring back-end SharePoint coding and front-end configurations.
• Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Foundation and front-end application configurations.
• Troubleshooting software issues.
• Implementation of SharePoint Foundation-based workflows.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Develop proof of concept examples.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications:
• 5 + years’ experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer. Other.NET coding (C#, VB. Net) desired.
• 5 + years’ experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
• Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.
• Must be motivated, independent, and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired.
• Familiarity using Lanteria HR Software is desired.
Skill Required / Desired/ Amount of Experience
Experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer. Other .NET coding (C#, VB. Net) desired-Required 5 Years
Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications- Required 5 Years
Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development (MUST UPLOAD CERTIFICATION)- Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired- Required
Familiarity using Lanteria HR Software is desired-Highly desired
