Edward Jones Data Management and Stewardship is seeking a Data Steward III to lead the organization in maximizing the value, quality, trust and understanding of our Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) data. The Data Steward promotes the firm's commitment to clean, reliable and accurate data by acting as a function of the firm's data governance framework to ensure data is cared for through its complete lifecycle, as an enterprise asset. This position includes stewardship of ICM data and a significant role in the design and development of the finance integration platform as a critical enabler of an ongoing Finance Transformation initiative.
What You'll Do: - Serve as the primary business steward for assigned data domains, defining data meaning, usage, lineage, and quality expectations.
- Partner with Technology, Digital, and Business teams to enable accurate, controlled production of data across operational and analytical environments.
- Lead stewardship activities for incentive compensation data, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and proper usage across the firm.
- Support the design and development of the finance integration platform by contributing business rules, data definitions, and lineage understanding needed for Finance Transformation.
- Develop and maintain data quality rules, monitor domain-level quality metrics, and drive remediation efforts when issues arise.
- Facilitate discussions on data definition, taxonomy, and classification-including privacy, retention, and criticality attributes.
- Analyze complex derived data, assess alignment with requirements, and recommend corrective or preventative actions.
What Could Set You Apart: - Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools would be considered a plus.
- Working knowledge of Oracle SPM, Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience or other incentive compensation management platforms.
- Advanced Degree (MBA, MHRM) / Comparable Certifications (CCP, CPA, CDMP, etc.) preferred

What Experience You Need - Experience in Data Stewardship, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Analysis, or Data Modeling
- Hands-on experience with databases and file storage systems (e.g., DB2, Azure, Oracle, Snowflake)
- Experience using Data Governance tools such as Collibra and Informatica
- Strong knowledge of data governance concepts and best practices, including data quality, privacy, metadata documentation, and data certification
- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira
- Proven organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively
- Ability to summarize complex information and clearly communicate insights to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently or within a team, and adapt to changing demands
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to drive change and influence without formal authority

Salary Information Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
