Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Application Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a Senior Application Developer, you will be responsible for understanding business needs to update application code, providing development support during testing, creating proofs of concept for new technology evaluation, and supporting application deployment. This role involves working on an agile team and may include client interactions. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Understand business needs and update application code with unit testing
- Provide development support during testing phases
- Create proofs of concept for new technology evaluation
- Support application deployment and create production plans
- Work within an agile team with a team lead
Requirements: - Minimum of 7 years of experience with Java/J2EE technologies
- Strong knowledge and expertise in container & cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS and Azure
- Good knowledge of technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL & Restful services, and WS-Security
- Hands-on experience on tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace & Autosys
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)
- Proficiency in writing complex Unix/Linux scripting
- Hands-on experience in UI technologies like Angular and React
- Hands-on experience on Code Quality Tools like JUnit and Sonar/Crucible
- Experience with modern development methodologies including Agile
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
