Job Title- Data Architect

Location- Strongsville Ohio (5 days onsite)

Duration: Full time

 

Job Description:

·       Candidate has proven 10+years of working experience as a Data Architect. He would be defining, designing, and documenting the interactions between software components.

·       This involves Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, defining different endpoints, specifying all the formats to be used, and creating the swagger that forms part of the API.

·       Candidate should have experience with strong security and performance considerations for these services.

·       Assist with intake and requirements upfront before the build starts to see if requirements are feasible

 

Skills:

·       Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle databases with SQL programming.

·       Working knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, Postman

·       Desirable experience on UML or BPMN, workflow design

·       Familiar with Teradata, Mongo DB band DB2 Database

·       Preferably experience working in Master Data Management (MDM) Customer Domain

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Problem Solving - Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems and effectively triage and resolve data Consistency and data quality issues

·       Work with Consuming applications to help resolve their data issues related queries

·       Design new as well as update Rest API and Kafka event Services

·       Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods, while also considering factors like security, performance, and best practices

·       Understand business requirements and translate them to API Design

·       Build integration solution with IBM MDM AE product, Mongo DB and Kafka

·       Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns

·       Support technical planning, estimation, development, testing, and UAT support

·       Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution

·       Effectively triage and resolve Data Consistency and data quality issues

·       Work in Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence tools

·       Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities
