Summary
An Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages risks, and ensures that project outcomes align with business objectives, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues with proactive mitigation strategies.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
Manage project budgets, timelines, scope changes, and vendor relationships.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies or Waterfall phase reviews depending on project methodology.
Oversee quality assurance, testing, and acceptance processes to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, and post-implementation support.
Conduct post-project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards for audit and governance purposes.
Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and ensure alignment across all project participants.
Foster collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven project culture.
Mentor and guide project team members on best practices in project execution and delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within software development or infrastructure environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase technology projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills / Duties
Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
Experience managing software development, cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Strong risk management, budgeting, and resource planning capabilities.
Ability to mentor project teams and drive continuous process improvement
