Software Engineer

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Angular and Python to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This position focuses on full-stack development and requires significant experience in creating large-scale UI applications. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, this role offers an opportunity to work closely with a technical lead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain large-scale UI applications using Angular and Python.
Integrate third-party libraries into the existing platform to enhance functionality.
Collaborate closely with the technical lead and a small team to ensure project success.
Utilize full-stack frameworks to build scalable and efficient software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in Python scripting and Angular development.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application integration and cloud platforms.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure high-quality software delivery by performing rigorous testing and debugging.
Document development processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in large-scale UI development.
Proficiency in both Angular and Python, with hands-on experience in full-stack development.
Strong knowledge of application integration and cloud platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with integrating third-party libraries into existing systems.
Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
