Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Business Analyst with strong expertise in wholesale commercial or retail banking credit risk processes. The candidate will work closely with Risk Management Business Regulatory and Technology teams to gather requirements, define solutions and support the implementation of credit risk platforms regulatory initiatives and risk analytics programs
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Credit Risk Analytics Business and Technology stakeholders to gather analyze and document business requirements
Prepare Business Requirement Documents BRDs Functional Requirement Documents FRDs user stories process flows and data mapping documents
Analyze credit risk workflows including origination underwriting rating limit management monitoring and reporting
Work with risk models and data teams to support implementation of Probability of Default PD Loss Given Default LGD Exposure at Defaultand Expected Credit Loss ECL frameworks
Support regulatory initiatives related to Basel IIIIV IFRS 9 CECL CCAR and Stress Testing
Perform data analysis reconciliation and validation of risk data sourced from multiple banking systems
Facilitate UAT planning test case preparation execution and defect management
Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops and requirement walkthrough sessions
Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs through design testing and deployment
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Credit Risk Management processes and banking products
Experience with Wholesale Banking, Commercial Lending, Corporate Banking or Retail Credit Risk
Strong business analysis skills including requirement gathering process modeling and stakeholder management
Knowledge of Basel regulations IFRS 9 CECL Stress Testing or CCAR
Experience with SQL for data analysis and validation
Hands-on experience with Jira Agile and Scrum methodologies
Strong expertise in data mapping data lineage and reconciliation activities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Moodys MSCI Risk Metrics AxiomSL SAS FIS Murex or other Risk platforms
Knowledge of Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting BCBS 239
Exposure to Data Warehousing Data Governance and BI reporting tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI driven risk analytics solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Economics Mathematics Computer Science or related discipline
Relevant certifications such as CBAP FRM CFA PMP or Agile certifications are preferred
