AWS Infrastructure Engineer / Amazon Connect Engineer
Sacramento, CA - 5 days onsite
Main Skill: AWS Connect or Amazon Connect
Required Technical Skills
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or equivalent AWS architecture certification.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise AWS solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and Contact Center technologies.
- Expertise with AWS services including Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, AWS IAM, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate, Amazon CloudFront, and Amazon EventBridge.
- Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, application modernization, and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise authentication and authorization solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and OAuth 2.0.
- Experience integrating AWS services with enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar platforms.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience utilizing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, and DevOps practices.
- Experience designing and implementing API integrations, event-driven architectures, and service-to-service integrations.
- Experience supporting containerized applications, Kubernetes platforms, microservices architectures, and cloud-native application deployments.
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with enterprise applications, CRM platforms, APIs, reporting platforms, and data services.
- Experience configuring and supporting Amazon Connect contact flows, routing profiles, queues, agent hierarchies, voice integrations, chat integrations, and analytics capabilities.
- Experience supporting Contact Center modernization, CTI transformation, and migration from legacy contact center technologies.
- Experience replacing, modernizing, or integrating legacy Salesforce CTI environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability production environments with mission-critical workloads.
- Experience with operational support, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, governance, compliance, and operational controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience supporting public-sector, government, or highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
