Position: Research Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
This role enables a well-governed, policy-aligned Education & Training (E&T) ecosystem by maintaining the authoritative enterprise training activity inventory and translating evolving requirements (law, DoW instructions, mandates, directives, memos, and guidance) into actionable updates for stakeholders. The position blends data stewardship, research, and continuous improvement-surfacing trends, recommending process enhancements, and producing evidence-based communications and deliverables to support continuing and professional education, as well as onsite event planning. The Research Analyst should have basic project management and data analysis skills to manage various executive-level tasks to support the Education and Training client environment.
Job duties will include:
Maintain the organizations internally facing master Education and Training (E&T) activity list with all associated data via Excel and SharePoint/Learning Management sites, or applications determined by the client. Maintenance is end-to-end requiring coordination with activity owner, update of documentation, and site updates. When possible, trends in the data captured should be presented to the client. Provide process improvement when possible. (Note this is not the same as the Academy or mandatory training but is a broad scope of ALL training for all roles.)
Provide support for identifying, capturing, and analyzing policy to include law, Defense policies (i.e., DoW instructions), mandates, memos, directives, guidance, among others. This will include recurring independent research using searches, virtual medical library databases, Gamechanger, and other applications, as well as tracking all E&T responsibilities found in policy and provide updates to client.
Conduct E&T research to inform continuing and professional education. This may include developing white papers, briefs, site updates, and other deliverables. All work products should include both appropriate references and internal data/metrics.
General administrative tasks as assigned.
Provide market research for event planning and management to support onsite activities.
