Job Title: Mainframe CICS System Administrator
Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85044
Job Description:
- As a Mainframe CICS System Administrator, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services.
- You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
- This role requires employees to live in or around the Phoenix, AZ area.
- You will be responsible to be onsite 3 days a week. We will consider candidates who are willing to relocate to the area.
- CICS Administration & Maintenance:
- Install, upgrade, and maintain CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) environments
- Apply patches (PTFs), manage version upgrades, and perform regression validation
- Configure and maintain CICS regions (production, test, DR)
- Maintain startup parameters and system initialization tables (DFHSIT)
- Performance Monitoring & Tuning:
- Monitor transaction performance and system health using tools such as:
- OMEGAMON/MainView/TMON
