Inviting applications for the role of MRO Induction Specialist
The Induction Specialist is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end engine arrival, slotting, and scheduling process within a Level 5 MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility for aeroderivative engines. This critical role ensures that scheduled assets arrive on schedule, minimizing operational downtime and maximizing facility utilization.
Serving as the primary operational link between regional teams, joint ventures (JVs), and Customer Project Managers (PMs), the Induction Specialist will actively manage induction risks, optimize shop slot allocations, and ensure absolute data integrity across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and internal workflow management systems
Responsibilities
- Slot Allocation & Pipeline Management
- Manage Slot Charts: Own, develop, and dynamically update the facility slot chart to maintain an accurate structural view of shop capacity and incoming volume.
- Optimize Capacity: Partner with regional teams to continuously identify and maintain a robust pipeline of alternative jobs to immediately backfill open slots when disruptions occur.
- Coordinate Governance Meetings: Lead weekly collaborative reviews with Joint Venture (JV) partners to align on slot allocation, capacity management, and milestone tracking.
- Track Schedule Adjustments: Log, monitor, and audit all slot changes and date shifts, capturing detailed causal reasons to support continuous improvement and variance analysis.
- Risk Mitigation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Mitigate Induction Risk: Collaborate with regional operations through systematic weekly meetings to evaluate incoming engines against defined gate criteria, actively neutralizing logistical bottlenecks.
- Streamline Asset Handovers: Interface directly with JV partners and the PM team to facilitate seamless physical and administrative handovers of engines entering the shop floor.
- Drive Stakeholder Alignment: Function as the central point of contact between internal MRO execution cells and external customer Project Managers to synchronize delivery expectations.
- Data Management & Executive Reporting
- Own System Data: Oversee daily inputs, maintenance, and rigorous quality control of engine status data across ERP platforms and internal tracking databases.
- Deliver Executive Metrics: Compile and distribute daily and weekly slot health scorecards to leadership, providing transparent visibility into slots at risk, open capacity, and pipeline velocity to drive strategic decisions.
- Provide customer Daily/weekly metric on slot health including slots at risk, open slots, and pipeline to leadership decision for slot allocation
- Track and manage slot change (and date changes) with causal reasons
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills with leadership capability

- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office with an emphasis on Excel.
