SAP Service Delivery Manager
Location: Northville, MI / Skokie, IL (USA) – Onsite (4 Days/Week)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager to lead large-scale SAP Managed Services programs and provide governance oversight for SAP implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP delivery leadership experience, strong expertise in SAP Finance or SAP Logistics, and a proven track record managing enterprise SAP landscapes while driving innovation, automation, and AI adoption.
Required Experience

15+ years of SAP experience with at least 7 years as an SAP Service Delivery Manager and/or SAP Program Manager.

Strong hands-on expertise in SAP FICO or SAP Logistics (MM/LE/WM).

Strong understanding of SAP technical areas including ABAP, Fiori/UI5, Basis, and Integration.

Experience leading at least two large SAP Managed Services programs.

Experience leading at least two end-to-end SAP implementations using SAP Activate Methodology.

Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices including Incident Management, Problem Management, Major Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, Service Request Management, and RCA processes.

Experience implementing automation, simplification initiatives, AI, or GenAI solutions within SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead large SAP Managed Services engagements across multiple business lines and SAP landscapes.

Own delivery governance, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance.

Ensure SLA/KPI compliance and oversee incident, change, release, problem, and service request management processes.

Drive innovation, automation, AI infusion, and productivity improvements using SAP technologies, GenAI, and Joule.

Provide project governance and monitor health of SAP implementation programs.

Coordinate with offshore delivery teams and ensure successful execution of managed services operations.

Identify opportunities for SAP standardization, upgrades, consolidation, and transformation initiatives.

Build strong customer relationships and act as the primary SAP delivery leader for executive-level engagements.

Drive account growth through proactive opportunity identification and delivery-led sales support.

Lead resource planning, competency development, workforce management, and talent growth initiatives.

Act as the primary escalation point for delivery risks and operational challenges.

Lead cost optimization initiatives across SAP delivery and operations.
