Data Engineer

Introduction:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable data models for our attribution and measurement platforms. You will work on building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load large datasets from various sources. Collaboration with data engineers and analysts to define semantic layers and ensure data consistency will be key in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable data models
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define semantic layers
• Manage the end-to-end pixel tracking solution
• Implement and promote best practices for data governance, quality, and security
• Enable self-service data access and analysis for stakeholders
• Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize efficiency
• Contribute to the overall architecture and strategy of the data platform

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with semantic layers and data modeling
• Understanding of data analysis and visualization best practices
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• Experience migrating from legacy BI tools to Looker
• Experience working in agile data teams and managing BI projects
• Familiarity with dbt or other data transformation frameworks
