Pilot Plant Operator

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Pilot Plant Operator for a 12+ month contract position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Ridgefield, CT.

Summary:
This role involves working within a pilot plant environment to support campaign managers and chemists with process and equipment-related challenges. The ideal candidate will become proficient in equipment operation and batch record entries while adhering to established GMP procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Follow the Lead of a BI Technician in pilot plant campaigns
• Work with plant technicians and campaign managers to address process and equipment-related challenges
• Assist the BI Lead technician in communication of the batch status with the chemist and analytical teams
• Take all required training and complete it before the due date
• Become proficient in equipment operation, batch record entries, and calculations
• Attend PSOR Meetings, speak up, and give input at these meetings
• Follow all procedures, including the wearing and use of defined PPE
• Report all incidents, such as spills or exposures, to management
• Conduct all operations and activities with safety as the primary goal

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or Associate Degree
• Experience working with established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures
• Possess effective troubleshooting skills with equipment and/or processes

Pay range: up to $23.57 per hour
