Job Details

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career architectural professional with approximately 3-5 years of practical experience who wants to continue developing both their design and technical capabilities within a collaborative architecture firm.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute creatively during the design process while also working closely with project and production teams through Design Development and Construction Documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the architectural design and development of commercial and institutional projects.
Collaborate with principals, project architects, designers, production staff, and outside consultants.
Develop creative and functional design concepts that respond to client needs and project requirements.
Produce and coordinate Design Development and Construction Documents.
Develop architectural drawings, plans, details, and project documentation using Revit and other design software.
Coordinate architectural work with structural, MEP, civil, and other project consultants.
Apply applicable building codes and design standards throughout project development.
Assist with material selections, building systems, detailing, and constructability considerations.
Participate in internal design reviews and project coordination meetings.
Support projects through multiple phases of design and documentation.
Help maintain design quality, technical accuracy, and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Approximately 3-5 years of practical architectural experience.
Previous experience working on commercial or other non-residential architecture projects is required.
Strong design skills with an understanding of both aesthetics and functionality.
Experience producing Design Development and Construction Documents.
Proficiency with Revit and SketchUp.
Experience with additional architectural design and visualization tools is beneficial.
Working knowledge of building codes and architectural documentation.
Experience coordinating with engineering and specialty consultants.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a project team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Architect or actively pursuing architectural licensure.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary or mid-sized architecture firm.
Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative design ability and technical documentation experience.

The ideal candidate is a creative architectural designer with a strong technical foundation who wants exposure to a broad range of project types.

You should be comfortable contributing ideas during conceptual design while also rolling up your sleeves and helping the team move those concepts through Design Development and Construction Documents.

This position is particularly well suited for someone who wants to grow within a collaborative firm, gain greater project responsibility, and develop into a well-rounded architectural professional.
