Your tasks will include:

  • Developing complex PCB layouts for variable speed drives from early concept through release to manufacturing
  • Translating schematics, technical requirements and mechanical constraints into optimized board designs
  • Defining and applying layout rules, layer stack-ups, controlled impedance requirements and routing strategies
  • Designing PCB layouts for high-speed, mixed-signal power electronics
  • Applying best practices for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, grounding, shielding and EMC performance
  • Performing design checks and layout reviews to ensure compliance with internal guidelines, customer requirements and industry standards
  • Preparing complete manufacturing data packages, including fabrication outputs, assembly documentation and supplier information
  • Collaborating with hardware, mechanical, EMC, test and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility, quality and smooth product industrialization

Ideally you will bring:
  • undefinedA degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field5 years of practical experience in PCB layout and electronic product developmentStrong expertise with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence AllegroSolid knowledge of PCB technologies, manufacturing processes, layer stack-ups, controlled impedance, differential pairs and high-speed signal routingGood understanding of EMC-oriented layout, grounding concepts, filtering, shielding, signal integrity, power integrity and thermal design principlesExperience with design-for-manufacturing, design-for-test and design-for-assembly requirementsFamiliarity with relevant PCB design standards and guidelines, including IPC standards, creepage and clearance rules and production documentation practicesA proactive working style, attention to detail, mentoring capability, intercultural competence and solid spoken and written English skills
