About this Position:

Job Title: Enterprise Network Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Network Strategy & Architecture: Design advanced cloud and on-premises solutions for client's platforms like Snowflake and SimCorp, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

• Infrastructure Implementation: Build scalable, secure network frameworks supporting partner products such as BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, and State Street Bank.

• Resiliency & High Availability: Implement automated monitoring and failover mechanisms to guarantee uninterrupted connectivity for critical business applications.

• Advanced Tech Integration: Design and deploy modern networking technologies, including SDN, SD-WAN, and NFV, to enhance performance.

• Automation (IaC): Leverage Terraform and Infrastructure as Code tools to automate provisioning, reduce manual errors, and enable repeatable deployments.

• Level II/III Operations: Provide expert-level support for firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Infoblox IP management, and ISE port security.

• Core Connectivity: Manage all aspects of switching, routing, VPN tunnels, and wireless networking across the enterprise.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize tools like SolarWinds, Cacti, and Gigamon to track performance and optimize network reliability.

• Partner Platform Support: Act as the primary technical resource for maintaining seamless connectivity for financial partner systems.

• Knowledge Transfer: Lead workshops and job-shadowing sessions to empower client's staff to independently manage the new infrastructure.

• Comprehensive Documentation: Develop detailed business processes, incident reports, test cases, and project status updates.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent alignment with contract managers to ensure project goals and performance standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Must provide copy of Degree.

• 5+ years' experience in designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise-scale environments.

• 5+ years of proven experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN), Software Defined Access (SDA), Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cisco Identity Engine (ISE).

• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Routers/Switches.

• Valid certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDE, PCNSE, NSE9, JNCDA, JNCDS-DC.
