Job Title: Sr. NET Devops Application Engineer

Job Location: Baltimore, MD

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $71.00hr - $76.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Recent 8 years of experience with Microsoft .NET/Azure development stack.
  • 5 years of experience in Application Development.
  • 2 years of experience as an Application Development Lead.
  • Experience implementing, customizing, and supporting popular Government SaaS applications such as Accela and OpenGov.
  • Deep experience with C#, VB.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.NET, and Blazor.
  • Experience with Database Transactional and Decision Support languages.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft SQL Server including SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, and RS.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Deep experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of popular SDLC models, processes, deliverables, and applications.
  • Deep conceptual grasp of popular design patterns for object-oriented software development.
  • Experience with BI Reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Development Platforms and tools including Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
  • Local government experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable .NET applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
