Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management
- Mentor & Coach: Manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and psychological safety.
- Performance Management: Set clear goals, conduct regular 1-on-1s, provide constructive feedback, and guide career development paths for team members.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with HR to recruit, interview, and onboard top-tier engineering talent.
Technical Strategy & Architecture
- Oversee the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure applications using the modern .NET ecosystem.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and security protocols.
- Balance the delivery of new features with the reduction of technical debt and modernization of legacy systems.
Delivery & Collaboration
- Agile Execution: Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure predictable and high-quality delivery cycles.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify technical bottlenecks and project risks early, communicating proactively with stakeholders to unblock the team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Management Experience: 3+ years of experience directly managing engineering teams, with a proven track record of delivering complex software projects.
- Technical Background: 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem.
Technical Skills:
- Mastery of C#, .NET Core / .NET 6/8+, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), and OOP principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
- Proficient with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
