Job Title: BI Developer

Location: India (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Project Based)
Work Schedule: 3–4 Days per Week (Part-Time Engagement)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled BI Developer to support our reporting and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Business Intelligence tools, data modeling, and dashboard/report development. This role will focus on designing and delivering BI solutions that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain BI dashboards and reports.

• Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.

• Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.

• Develop ETL processes and ensure accurate data flow into BI systems.

• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of reports/dashboards.

• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Create documentation for BI reports, dashboards, and data processes.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a BI Developer / Reporting Developer.

• Expertise in BI tools such as:

  • Power BI / Tableau / Qlik

• Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning).

• Experience in Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools/processes.

• Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices.

• Excellent communication and requirement gathering skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform).

• Knowledge of SSIS / SSRS / SSAS (if Microsoft stack).

• Experience in Python for data processing is a plus.

• Exposure to Agile methodology.

Additional Information

• Candidate must be available 3–4 days per week.

• This is a remote project-based role for 12 months.

• Immediate or short notice period candidates preferred.
