Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer

Title : Power Apps Developer
Location : Columbia, SC -Hybrid
Duration : 12 + Months

Candidate MUST be a SC, NC, or GA resident AND willing to commute to Columbia, SC 2days/week to start.

Scope of theproject:
The Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer will collaborate closelywith Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and other technical teamsto design, build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions within theMicrosoft Power Platform. The developer will be responsible for hands-ondevelopment, integration, automation, data modeling, troubleshooting, andsolution optimization. This role requires deep knowledge of Dataverse tables,security, Power Apps (model-driven and canvas apps), Power Automate flows, andenterprise integration patterns. The position is highly hands-on and focused ondelivering robust, scalable business applications.

DailyDuties / Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise Power Apps solutions (canvas and model-driven)
• Build and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, APIs and security roles
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications and data sources including Azure services
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environment
• Work closely with business partners to translate requirements into functional solutions
• Implement best practices around solution architecture, governance, data modeling and secure-by-design development
• Maintain documentation for configuration, data models, custom connectors, workflows and operational support

·       Assist in building monitoring, auditing, logging andcompliance controls in alignment with enterprise policies.

Skills :

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

·       5+ years of Hands-on Power Apps Development (model-driven and canvas)

·       5+ years of experience developing solutions using Dataverse, including advanced datamodeling and security architecture

·       Strong experience with Power Automate for building complex workflows and integrations

·       Experience creating and managing custom connectors, APIs and Integrations with AzureServices

·       Solid understanding of Power Platform environments, ALM, solution management, DevOpsand Deployment pipelines

Proficiency with JavaScript, Power Fx, and low code extensibility patterns       

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

·       Experience with Azure Functions, Logic apps, and Azure API Management

·       Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE configuration and extended Dataverse Features

·       Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, PCI, etc.)

·       Knowledge of Power BI for reporting integrations

·       Understanding of security architecture within Power Platform and Azure AD

Required Education: 

·       College degree or equivalent experience

Must hold Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics Certification or 5+ years of equivalent experience        

Preferred Certifications:

·       PL-400 Power Platform Developer

·       PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect

·       Microsoft AZURE Fundamentals (AZ-900)
