Summary
Job Title: CAD Designer (CREO)
Location: Onsite Solon, OH (onsite only)
Duration: 3 4 months (potential for extension)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Overview: Oxford's client is seeking two experienced CAD Designers to support mechanical documentation efforts tied to new equipment installations at the Three Mile Island facility. This is an onsite-only role in Solon, OH
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical assemblies and components (Creo highly preferred, may consider Solidworks/AutoCAD)
- Develop layout, assembly, fabrication, and procurement drawings
- Work with BOMs and PLM systems
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret and document design concepts
- Ensure documentation meets internal standards and project requirements
- Support a mix of new design (20%) and modifications to existing systems (80%)
- May include equipment-level drawings, plumbing schematics, and P&IDs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of CAD design experience
- Proficiency in Creo preferred, SolidWorks or AutoCAD acceptable
- Strong mechanical modeling and drafting skills
- Nuclear industry experience preferred but not required
- No degree required
- Must be available onsite full-time (5x8 schedule)
