Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 9+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices, with experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.

Required Skills

9+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM, and Memory Management.
Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
Strong experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture.
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating SOAP/REST web services.
Strong SQL experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
Messaging technologies: Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, ActiveMQ.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized deployments.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, OOP, and Data Structures & Algorithms.
Experience with JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, and automated testing frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
Build scalable Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
Develop secure, high-performance backend services and distributed systems.
Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
Develop unit, integration, and performance tests.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
Ensure application security, compliance, and best development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux).
Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
Experience with Apache Camel or integration frameworks.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and Identity & Access Management.
Knowledge of ELK Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana for monitoring.
Exposure to Kafka Streams and real-time data processing.
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) are a plus.

Nice to Have

Financial Services, Banking, Healthcare, or Retail domain experience.
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Exposure to AI/ML integrations and Generative AI APIs.
Experience with Redis caching and Elasticsearch.
Knowledge of Kubernetes Operators and Service Mesh (Istio).
